about CHRYSTA 

 Chrysta is an essayist,  dance professional, and group fitness instructor. 

 Chrysta's dance training began at the age of three and has since studied all over the United States.  She holds her BFA in Dance Performance with a minor in Human Rights Education from Souther Methodist University and has attended programs with State Street Ballet, Ballet Magnificat, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Limon Dance Company, and the Laban School.  In addition to choreographing and producing her own projects, her choreography has been featured at Southern Methodist University, Ascential Dance Colorado, Apex Contemporary Dance Youth Outreach, Addicted 2 Dance Company, MADE Contemporary Dance, and Centennial State Ballet.She is a proud member of the International Dance Council. 

She began teaching fitness and conditioning to dancers who wanted to perfect their performance in technique classes, in auditions, and on stage.  Eventually, she began teaching fitness classes to people of all ages and fitness levels and with motivations that range from athletic performance enhancement to weight loss.   Her classes have been described as fun, effective, and physically and mentally challenging.  She holds fitness certifications through The Ballet Physique, Peak Pilates, and Performing Arts Physical Therapy.
